The Varsity Football team defeated Southridge 25 - 14, on the road Friday night. Logan Strahle got things started early with a punt return for a touchdown. The offense struggled struggled in the first quarter, but picked things up, led by Jaxon McKain's 3 TD passes. McKain connected with Grant Davis for 2 touchdown receptions, and Bradyn Egli the third. Davis ran for 122 yards on the ground. The Pioneer defense did a great job shutting Southridge out in the second half, and limiting the Raiders to just 80 yards rushing on the night. Tyler Klaner led the Pioneer defense with 8 tackles, including 4 tackles for loss. Hunter Tyson and Peyton Holley added 6 tackles each. It was a great second half response and team win!
