BHS Boys Tennis won their 3rd match in a row Thursday at Pike Central by a score of 3-2. The #1 doubles team of Mason Wall and Dylan Dicks won their match handily 6-0,6-0. At 2 doubles, Dillon Nickens and Mitchell Boyer won in a walkover. At #2 singles Gavin Vollman pulled out another marathon victory, winning 6-3 in the third set after splitting the first 2. Marcston King put forth a great effort while not at 100%, pushing his opponent in a very close 2nd set at #1 singles. Brayden Young was very impressive at #3 singles. In his first singles match, Brayden pushed a more experienced player deep into a 3rd set before falling 5-7, an outstanding singles debut. After 3 road wins this week, BHS will get a home match on Saturday after a scheduling conflict forced their match with Evansville Christian to be moved to Boonville. Match time is 10:00am.
